The season of Giving has started in Cameroon.

Thanks to several Rotary clubs in D7820 there will be eleven schools in Cameroon’s Awing village that will receive their first latrine and Government approved school books. This work would not be possible if it wasn’t for the generous support of the following clubs: Kentville, Port Hawkesbury, Dartmouth East, Amherst, Halifax NW, St John’s NW, Straight Regional Interact club and our own District Simplified Grants.
In March I travel to Cameroon with my 11 yr old grandson to wind up the project, do a Polio NID and report back to you at the May District Conference on the completed work. It is my intension to also visit some hospitals that have received our equipment and schools that are utilizing the four school buses shipped recently to them.
With Rotary the season of Giving is always present, if your club wishes to participate in the present latrine/school book project there are still 19 schools who will not receive this gift. For a latrine and school books for one school the cost is $1,000. Just contact myself.
