Summerside Rotary is for the Birds!

The guest speaker at the April 10th meeting of the Rotary Club of Summerside didn't really have much to say but was very impressive anyway.
Jamie Stride of Island Falconry Services brought his 4 year old falcon to the meeting and explained how he goes about clearing areas of pest birds. He talked about what is involved in training a falcon, what he feeds it and how crows and seagulls head for the hills when he brings in his falcon. Definitely one of the most fascinating presentations we've had.
