HRM Rotary Clubs Invite Applications for an Educational Visit to Arkansas!

For two young women from HRM to be the guests of the Rotary Club of Little Rock, Arkansas,
for five weeks - hosted by Rotarians families
Why is this happening?
To promote cultural exchange and international understanding... a unique learning experience!
Where is the travel?
Little Rock, Arkansas, with sightseeing opportunities across the state of Arkansas, ending with
3 days in Washington, DC (including tours of the White House and Capitol Building)
Who should apply?
Young women who are residents of Halifax – between the ages of 21 and 23 as of August 1, 2012
– who have an interest in learning about the US, especially Arkansas, and who would like to learn about
different career options and meet new people. You would serve as an Ambassador for Halifax as you
travel. You would give presentations both in Arkansas about Halifax and again when you return.
