HEART OF DISTRICT 7820 AWARD

PDG John Williamson received the "HEART OF DISTRICT 7820 AWARD"

from DG Bob at the regular meeting of the Rotary Club of Halifax Northwest on Wednesday

June 13, 2012.The award was suggested at a meeting of Past District Governors at the District Training

Meeting in February at Halifax. His peers felt John was a truly worthy recipient of special recognition and

with the assistance of PDG Dennis Knight, the award was crafted by DG Bob and will be

presented yearly at the District Convention to a Past District Governor who continues to

provide Service Above Self to District 7820. John was so surprised, he was speechless which is

so unusual for a Past District Governor. WELL DONE PDG JOHN.
