Through the Me to We/Free the Children foundation, we are raising 500$ which supplies a school with new books and furniture. We are hoping to have it go towards a school in Pakistan to further support Malala's education for all movement.
Our students made a school with an outline of bricks on it. They are selling paper bricks everyday for 1$. The buyers can decorate their
brick(s) and put them up on the brick school. It is a great visual to see how much we have so far, as well as great motivation to see how far we have to go!
At end of day Friday, I'd say we have about 200$!!!!!
Here is a pic of our brick wall and all the bricks purchased after only 2 days! We are doing great and I think having the visual really helps students to want to become involved.
