Zone 24 & 32 Monthly newsletter
Dear Zones 24 & 32 Rotarians:
Attached is the December issue of the monthly Zone newsletter. Inside you will find thoughts on the real value of Rotary's new branding campaign and on what the "family of Rotary" entails. You'll also find also an update on Associate Membership, and a primer on WASRAG, the Water and Sanitation Action Group that started right here in our Zones. And yes, it's the end of the year; time to think about charitable giving, especially to our Foundation. Included are some tips to make sure that your charitable giving works for you -- not the tax man
What service project is your District undertaking this Holiday season? How is your District responding to the disasters in Philippines, Somalia, and right here at home with the explosion in Lac Megantic and flooding in Alberta? Send a short (short!) description of service projects your district is undertaking, just telling: goal of service project, number of Rotarians/friends actively involved, amount of dollars/value raised, number of people helped. And include a photo, please. Send your Holiday service project announcement -- and any other information or articles you would like to see in the newsletter -- to Marty Helman, martyrotary@gmail.com
. Deadline: December 20. Let's share our Holiday service with Rotarians from across the two Zones!
