In just one week, Rotarians from across Atlantic Canada and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon will gather in beautiful Shediac for the North Atlantic Rotary District Conference — Unite for Good Times.
But this year, the conference experience starts before you even pick up your badge.
Welcome to the Shediac 2026 Conference Companion — your live guide, challenge hub, schedule assistant, social connector, and weekend sidekick.
No app store. No passwords. No complicated setup.
And yes — the entire experience is 100% bilingual in both English and French.
Just open the link, bookmark it to your home screen, and you are ready to go.

📅 A Live Schedule That Moves With the Conference
The Conference Companion is more than a PDF schedule sitting in your downloads folder.
It is a live, constantly updated guide to what is happening throughout the weekend.
Need to know what session is next? Where an event is taking place? What time something starts? The Conference Companion keeps it all in one place.
And because conferences are living things, updates can happen in real time.
Schedule changes, reminders, announcements, suggested attire, weather, accessibility information, parking details, and important updates can all appear right inside the app. You can even provide anonymous feedback on each event.

🙋 Need Help? We Built That In Too.
Questions happen.
Need directions? Looking for accessibility information? Wondering what to wear to an event? Trying to find a facilitator or session location?
The Conference Companion is designed to help you quickly find answers without needing to chase someone down in a hallway.
Throughout the weekend, the app will help connect you to conference information, organizers, and updates as things happen.
🎯 Enter the Shediac 2026 Challenge
Starting May 28, a new section unlocks inside the Conference Companion:
The Shediac 2026 Challenge
It is optional. It is a little ridiculous. And it is designed to make the conference even more fun and engaging.
All you need is an email address to jump in.
No profiles to build. No giant forms. Just enter your email and start exploring.

📸 Snap Photos. Explore. Participate.
Some challenges might ask you to snap a photo.
Others may encourage you to visit the Friendship Village (keep an eye out for QR codes), attend activities, complete self-declared tasks, or share your conference experience on social media.
Some are simple. Some are unexpected. Some may encourage you to step slightly outside your comfort zone.
The goal is not competition.
The goal is participation and engagement.

🤝 Meet New Rotarians
One of our favourite features is called Meet.
Every participant in the Challenge gets their own QR code.
Meet someone new? Open the app, scan their QR code, and boom — conference connection made. You even earn a few points along the way.
It is a fun little nudge to encourage what Rotary does best:
Building connections.

🕵️ There May Be Secret Challenges...
We cannot tell you too much.
But somewhere throughout the weekend, there may be hidden challenges, surprise moments, mystery tasks, or unexpected opportunities waiting to be discovered.
Some may only appear if you talk to the right person.
Others may appear when you least expect it.
Consider this your warning.
🦞 One More Thing...
Yes.
You can create a lobster-inspired avatar.
Because of course you can.
