Wolfville completes Matching Grant in Brazil

A solar heating system is installed....
Rotary Club of Wolfville Rotarian Frank Maxwell (left) looks with pride at a plaque in Ilha Solteira, Brazil. Recently completed, the matching grant project paid for the installation of a solar heating system at a daycare centre for destitute seniors. A second project paid for a similar system for a nursing home in Nelson Pereira. The plaque reads, "The Rotary International Foundation, the Rotary Clubs of Ilha Solteira in the state of Sao Paulo, and of Wolfville in Canada : Have together donated the solar heating equipment for this Daycare Centre. 12/02/10".
