Waterford Valley Rotary Club NL visits Ireland District Conference

I had the fortunate opportunity recently while traveling on business to Dublin Ireland to take in District 1160 Ireland conference in Dublin Ireland on September 28.
The conference was held in a very old castle turned into modern hotel. There were approximately 250 delegates from Ireland and Northern Ireland present. Keynote speakers included Dr. Bruce Alyward from St. John's who is the head of the World Health Organization Polio Eradication and BONO of the Irish Rock Group U2.
The conference participants welcomed myself as the only Canadian delegate. A great Rotarian Experience!
