Summerside Rotary Club President Suffers Bravely

The Rotary Club of Summerside held its annual Pancake Breakfast and first annual Mardi Gras Curling Bonspiel this past Saturday, Feb 25. Club President Yolande Richard, who is a huge Montreal Canadiens fan promised to wear a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey at the Pancake Breakfast if the Bonspiel committee got more than 25 sponsors for our inaugural bonspiel. They got 30 so true to her word she wore the jersey but as you’ll see from the attached photo, her heart wasn’t truly in it.
