Rotary – 2013-14 Presidential Citation

Dear District Governor Coldwell:
 
I am writing to provide you with important information about the 2013-14 Presidential Citation. Please share the following information with your clubs.
 
The 2013-14 Presidential Citation will recognize Rotary clubs that achieve an array of accomplishments that promote membership growth, enhance humanitarian service, and strengthen community ties through the family of Rotary. To qualify for a citation, a club must complete three required activities and at least three additional activities per category* listed in the 2013-14 Presidential Citation Brochure (900A-EN). Club presidents must fill out and sign a copy of the brochure and send it to their district governor’s attention by 31 March 2014. The brochure is available in a writeable PDF format, which can be saved and e-mailed as an attachment.

* Please note that President Burton will recognize clubs that exceed the minimum requirements of the Presidential Citation with a citation with distinction. To qualify for the Presidential Citation with Distinction, clubs must complete at least four additional activities per category instead of three.
 
Rotaract clubs may qualify for a Presidential Citation by updating their club data and member contact information in My Rotary, and completing at least four additional activities listed in the Rotaract Presidential Citation form. Interact clubs may qualify for a Presidential Citation by completing at least four of the activities listed in the Interact Presidential Citation form. Both of these forms are available on RI website. The sponsoring Rotary club must sign the Rotaract or Interact citation form and submit it to the district governor by 31 March 2014. 
 
 
District governors must report the names of all qualifying Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact clubs in their districts electronically through My Rotary no later than 15 April 2014. Late submissions will not be accepted. We will send governors instructions on how to use My Rotary to report qualifying clubs later in the Rotary year.
