Remembering PDG Trevor Atkin

The Rotary Club of Avalon Northeast recently honoured the memory of the Late PDG Trevor Atkin. Kathryn recently sent me the following:
Hello everyone - I just wanted to share with you something very special. Our Rotary Club has chosen to remember Trevor and his contribution to the club in a very special way. The Club has had a granite bench made and installed inside the gazebo at Topsail Beach. All of you will know that the beach held a very special place in Trevor's heart and he and Bess spent, if not every day, then almost every other day walking the beach and the surrounding trails. In fact, they became a fixture and became known in the neighbourhood as the "Man with the little black dog".
