PEI Rotarian Appointed to Senate of Canada

Rotarian Diane Griffin, a member of the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty, has been appointed to the Senate of Canada.

 

Diane has always played a leading role in her Rotary club, as we are sure she will do the same in the Senate as well.

 

Diane is a former deputy environment minister  for PEI and has served as Executive Director of the Island Nature Trust.   She volunteers on the board of the Nature Conservancy of Canada and has received the Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal and the P.E.I. Environment award. Diane is also a published author, publishing a book called Atlantic Wildflowers.
