Can you imagine being operated on in this "Operating Room"? Rotarians in District 7820 can make a difference. Please read on.

This hospital was built by the Cameroon government three years ago. It was supplied with no equipment or supplies. When PDG Pete and his grandson toured this facility in March of this year the resident doctor reported that he had just finished a cesarean berth and an appendectomy the previous night. As Rotarians this is unacceptable.
D7820 is preparing to send a purchased 20' container of the following equipment:
Stretcher (2)
Operating Table (1)
Birthing bed (1)
Admitting Table (1)
Wheel Chairs (2)
Walkers (2)
Crutches (4)
Mechanical Adjustable Beds (5)
Mattresses (6)
Sheets (12 pr)
Supplies for bone casts
We are asking for your support in sourcing these items and assist with the funding. Approximate costs for this project are $7,500. The Rotary Clubs of Kentville and Port Hawkesbury have already committed, Can your club??
