GSE Team prepares for trip of a lifetime

Joe Donachie who is the GSE Program Chair (Outbound) tells us that the
recently selected members of the District GSE Team came together for the
first time in Halifax to participate in the orientation program in regard to the
exchange with District 3310, comprising Singapore, Brunei and parts of
Malaysia, which will take place in June 2013.

first time in Halifax to participate in the orientation program in regard to the
exchange with District 3310, comprising Singapore, Brunei and parts of
Malaysia, which will take place in June 2013.
During the exchange, and in addition to making presentations to a number
of different Rotary Clubs and participating fully in what will no doubt be a
very comprehensive cultural and educational program, our Team will have
the opportunity to attend the District Conference which will be held in
Phuket in Thailand.
District 7820 has been an active participant in the Group Study Exchange
for almost 40 years, and while this is the very last year of the program as it
is presently structured we know that all past Team Members have greatly
benefited from their experience in this highly successful endeavour.
