Join Us for an EPIC MONTH of Service - May 2026
The Epic Day of Service is a growing Rotary initiative, launched just a few years ago by passionate Rotarians who believe in the power of collective action. The idea is simple but powerful: one EPIC day where Rotary and Interact clubs come together to make a visible, meaningful impact in our communities. This year’s Epic Day of Service takes place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, perfectly timed over the Victoria Day long weekend—making it an ideal opportunity to mobilize volunteers and maximize community engagement.
However, North Atlantic is building momentum for a month-long initiative leading into May 2026. We are encouraging clubs to showcase service projects culminating in a strong, unified month of action.
Collaboration is key, and we are excited to see Rotary, Rotaract and Interact clubs working together on projects that reflect local needs and passions.
How to participate
- Register your service project through the Epic Day of Service portal for it to be counted: https://www.epicdayofservice.
org/ - Portal is limited to Rotary clubs, so Rotaract and Interact clubs and partners are encouraged to work closely with their sponsoring Rotary club and have them complete the registration.
- Projects must be registered by May 2026. Execution/implementation of projects must be completed within the month of May 2026.
Suggested project ideas include (but are not limited to):
- Adopt-a-Highway, trail, or park clean-ups
- Community or school growing gardens
- Beach or shoreline clean-ups
- Supporting sustained farms and initiatives that address food insecurity
Whether your club takes on one project or several, every effort contributes to a larger movement of service, collaboration, and impact.
Let’s come together, roll up our sleeves, and make May 2026 an EPIC demonstration of Rotary in Action!
Warm regards,
Nikki Whyte
