District Grants Training - YOUR personal invitation

Each and every Rotarian in District 7815 is invited to attend District Grants training.
  • Who should attend? Anyone who is interested in Club-led Service Projects and looking for extra funding to make an even bigger impact.

  • What is in it for me if I go?  You will learn where District Grants funding comes from. You will see how to submit a grant on ClubRunner. You can ask questions. District Grants are a way to experience the power and precision of The Rotary Foundation in action, with your club. Two members from your club need to attend to become a Qualified Club. Attending or viewing training is the first step to accessing District Grant funds.

  • Where is the training held? It is virtual training. The live sessions will be on Zoom on February 9th and 28th. Busy those days? You can watch a recording after it is posted on YouTube.

  • When will the training take place? The live sessions will happen on February 9th at 7 PM, 7:30 in NL, or February 28th at 10 AM, 10:30 in NL. Pick one session that suits your schedule. If you can't attend live, there is another option. The training sessions will be recorded and available to view on YouTube in early March. We have revamped the training from the past 4 years. We anticipate the session will be less than 90 minutes, including Q&A time.

  • Why should I attend? New members will learn a little more about one of the world's top charitable foundations, The Rotary Foundation. Long-term members may be inspired to start a new project in their community, or abroad. Club Executive are required to sign a digital MOU when their club applies for a District Grant. This training shows the steps involved in applying for and reporting on the Grant. And if the weather is frightful, it is a great way to pass time and learn with Rotarians from across our big, beautiful District. Maybe you will meet up at District Conference and partner in projects in Atlantic Canada, St Pierre et Miquelon, or somewhere else in the world.
Don't miss out on this learning opportunity that will increase your club's financial reach in a great service project.
Register for one of the two sessions today!
