Declaration of Appointments 

 
For the positions of the District 7820 Representative to the Rotary International 2017, 2018 and 2019 Councils on Resolutions and the 2019 Council on Legislation and Alternate Representative.
 
Further to the Invitation to Clubs to suggest names for these positions sent to clubs on February 13, 2017, clubs submitted three suggestions before April 15th, 2017.  The Nominating Committee considered those suggestions and notified the District Governor on April 24th, 2017 that they nominated
 
 PDG Doug Logan, a member of the eClub of Atlantic Canada (a Satellite Club of the Rotary Club of Halifax Harbourside) for the position of District 7820 Representative to the Rotary International 2017, 2018 and 2019 Councils on Resolutions and the 2019 Council on Legislation, and
 
 PDG Greg Coldwell, a member of the Rotary Club of New Minas Sunrise for the position of  District 7820 Alternate Representative to the Rotary International 2017, 2018 and 2019 Councils on Resolutions and the 2019 Council on Legislation.
 
 
The District Governor published notice of the names and clubs of the nominees to the clubs in the District by email on April 25, 2017 according to the Rotary International Bylaws.  The notice stated that under Rotary International By-law Article 14.020.8, clubs meeting the criteria stated in that Article may challenge these nominations not more than 14 days after publication of that notification.
 
Absent receipt of any challenging nomination by the established date, the District Governor declares the above candidates to be the District’s Representative and Alternate Representative to the Rotary International 2017, 2018 and 2019 Councils on Resolutions and the 2019 Council on Legislation as nominated under Rotary International By-law Article14.020.10.
