Changes to the Administration of District 7820

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce some changes in the administration of District.With the expiration of the contract with Shallaway for general administration services on September 1st, the Board took the opportunity to distribute the general communication and administrative duties back to the volunteer board members such as the District Secretary.
As of September 1st, general inquiries to District previously handled by the Admin office will be handled by the District Secretary (rotarydistrict7820@gmail.com)
To keep with the increasing demand by Rotary International for financial oversight, the Board solicited proposals for bookkeeping services. After judging the proposals that came in we are pleased to inform you that Ms. Kathryn Atkin (7820finance@gmail.com) will provide that service to the board going forward. Her experience with the finances and workings of the district will be important as we transition to the new model of financial management and report to RI. She will work closely with the District treasurer, District Governor and the newly formed Financial Management Committee.
A professionally run District is important to all Rotarians and the management of finances is one of the most important aspects of that operation. The changes that we have made will improve service and keep costs in line to the benefit of everyone.
