Awing Village – 2014
Cameroon
Our District is preparing to send another container to Cameroon.
We are seeking some hospital equipment for the Awing hospital such as (1) Operating Table, Stretchers, Admitting Table, Wheel Chairs, and Mattresses. In addition we will be loading school supplies such as writing material, solar power calculators, musical instruments, children’s summer clothing. Bicycles will be collected also to help fill available space. The 20’ container is located in Burnside, Dartmouth and accessible during weekdays. This will be a total of fifteen containers that have been shipped to Africa containing hospital, school and water equipment. You can all be proud of these successful projects which continue to bring relief to the communities. Almost every club in D7820 has contributed, and our District is well known in D9150 with their local advertising and the four school buses we shipped in 2010 proudly displaying D7820 and Canadian Flag.
