2017 District Conference Alert

Coming Soon:  Registration for the 2017 District Conference at the Old Orchard Inn in Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley will be available in January, and the Conference Committee is hard at work to make a great event for Rotarians, their Partners and Youth involved with Rotary. 
 
Keynote speakers confirmed at this point include:
 
  • Rose Adams - lawyer, entrepreneur and community involveist - a Rotarian who speaks about how to adjust to change, enhance leadership and respect for others, something she calls "BREATHE".
  • Peter Bevan-Baker - someone you hear frequently in the media speaking in his role as Leader of the PEI Green Party, Peter has an ability to encourage people to face challenges, build community and respect our environment with a balanced life style  - "Be Happy".
  • Ron Denham - Ron is a Canadian Rotarian who has been instrumental in creating the Water and Sanitation Action Group - WASRAG, one of the most successful of the Rotary International Action Groups.  He can speak to us about current water and sanitation issues facing developed countries and how Rotary can best to respond.
 
Mark your calendars now:  The Conference begins with Leadership Training on June 1; regular Conference sessions begin first thing on Friday June 2 and end about noon on Sunday June 4.
