2011 Aidan Maloney Emerging Professionals Award

Dr.  Andrew Furey and Jamie Roche are the 2011 recipients of the Northwest Rotary Aidan Maloney Emerging Professionals Award for Vocational and Community Service.  Dr.  Andrew Furey practices Orthopaedic Traumatology for Eastern Health and Jamie Roche is the Atlantic Canadian Business Development Executive for Ernst & Young LLP.  The Rotary Club of St.John's Northwest is thrilled to recognize these outstanding individuals for the contribution they have made and continue to make through their community service work as well as their chosen profession.  

Through the creation of this award Rotary will recognize up to two emerging professionals annually who positively impact their chosen vocations and their communities.  This award demonstrates Rotary’scommitment towards developing young professionals; it profiles the work of Rotary and honors a St.  John’s Northwest Rotarian, former Rotary District Governor Aidan Maloney.
