Today, we celebrate two special occasions: Canada Day and the beginning of a new Rotary year.

As I reflect on the communities we call home, I look ahead with great excitement to another year of service, fellowship, and making a difference across Atlantic Canada and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon.

For those I have not yet had the opportunity to meet, my name is Chris Hornberger, and today I officially begin my year of service as your District Governor.

In the video below, I share a little about myself and my excitement for the year ahead. Over the coming months, I look forward to visiting clubs, learning about your projects, and celebrating the incredible impact our members make in their communities every day.

To all our members, thank you for your dedication and commitment to Service Above Self. Your passion and generosity continue to strengthen our communities and inspire others to take action.

Aujourd'hui, nous célébrons deux occasions bien spéciales : la fête du Canada et le début d'une nouvelle année rotarienne.

Alors que je réfléchis aux collectivités que nous avons le privilège de servir, j'envisage avec enthousiasme une nouvelle année de service, de camaraderie et d'actions porteuses de changement partout au Canada atlantique et à Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon.

Pour celles et ceux que je n'ai pas encore eu l'occasion de rencontrer, je m'appelle Chris Hornberger et j'entre officiellement en fonction aujourd'hui à titre de gouverneure de district.

Dans la vidéo ci-dessus, je vous en dis un peu plus sur moi et je partage mon enthousiasme pour l'année à venir. Au cours des prochains mois, j'ai hâte de visiter vos clubs, de découvrir vos projets et de célébrer l'incroyable impact que nos membres ont dans leurs collectivités chaque jour.
