Nabil Oudeh was born into conflict. As a Palestinian growing up in Israel, Nabil experienced the impact of conflict on all aspects of life. His lifelong calling to be a peacebuilder was immediately evident. As a teenager he challenged himself and others in the most difficult circumstances to utilize dialogue as a way of building greater understanding between peoples. Moving to the United States for his undergraduate education, Nabil continued to be engaged in dialogue opportunities for reconciliation between conflicting traditions and cultures. As he continued his graduate studies in peace and conflict resolution, Nabil was involved in various community and international peace initiatives.

Nabil also took the principles of peacebuilding to the workplace and for over 25 years, he has been involved in workplace transformation, assisting leaders, professionals and their organizations.  He helps his clients develop and create effective solutions to their biggest challenges at work. Nabil offers a unique perspective on leadership, organizational effectiveness and workplace wellness.

A dedicated Rotarian for over 25 years, Past District Governor (PDG) Nabil Oudeh began his Rotary journey in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. His Rotary leadership spans all levels of the organization, including President of the Rotary Club of Ottawa, District Governor (District 7040), General Chair for Zones 28–32 Institutes, Rotary International Training Leader (two terms), and Rotary International President’s Representative, among many other roles. Nabil is deeply committed to developing Rotary leaders and advancing Rotary’s mission to serve and heal the world.
 
Nabil is a sought-after speaker and presenter at Rotary conferences, District Training Assemblies, Regional President-Elect Trainings, RYLAs, and Rotaract conferences. He is known for building meaningful connections among Rotarians and communities around the globe.
 
In recognition of his outstanding contribution to peacebuilding and international cooperation, Nabil received the Donald MacRae Peace Award in 2020.
 
Nabil and his wife Gayle, also a Rotarian, live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. They have two adult children who live in Australia and Toronto, Canada.
