ROTARY FRIENDSHIP EXCHANGE

After a long delay in our RFE program due to the pandemic, we are now planning for future exchanges. As you may know, Friendship Exchange is an international exchange program for Rotary members and friends that allows participants to take turns hosting one another in their homes and clubs. https://www.rotary.org/en/our-programs/friendship-exchange. 

Our district has exchanged with many areas in the past including New Zealand, Brazil, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Australia, Vancouver Island and several areas in the USA. Lasting friendships and international understanding are only some of the benefits of an exchange. 

We are returning our visit from members of  District 5110 (Oregon & Northern California) https://www.district5110.org/ or https://www.facebook.com/RotaryD5110/ who visited us in August 2019. Our outbound exchange was delayed due to the pandemic. We are now accepting applications for that outbound team. See link to application form above. Applications will be accepted until 10th February 2023.

The other two proposed exchanges are currently under discussion and planning. Further information will be posted when available. 

We are presently investigating several other international districts although nothing is yet confirmed.

Due to the large geographic size of District 7815 and travel distances,  we are subdividing it into several areas to ensure best  experiences for our guests without extended travel.

In order to determine areas to be part of the proposed exchanges, we need to hear from individual Rotarians and clubs as to what interests them.
