District Grant Training – Participation required to be certified to apply!

This Rotary year, District matching grants are funding local community facilities and services; educational projects; and international project needs assessments. These grants come from your Rotary Foundation contributions.

District Grant training is offered on two different dates: January 20th from 10 am to 11:30 am and January 25th from 7 PM to 8:30 PM, Atlantic time via Zoom. For a Rotary or Rotaract Club to qualify for a District Grant, clubs must send two members to either training session. One session will be recorded and posted to District 7815’s YouTube channel. Viewing the recording counts towards attending.

The training session provides information about The Rotary Foundation, Global Grants, the ClubRunner application steps, and new qualification criteria to apply for a Grant. Grant amounts match up to 50% of the project amount. We will introduce a sliding scale for larger projects that starts at $3000.

If your schedule permits, please attend in person. You may have questions for the presenters.

- Elva Heyge (RC of Kentville), Global Grants Chair
- Miriam MacLeod (RC of St John’s East), District Grants Chair
